The Rat is on Vacation!

Yes, my friends in Mrs. Mclaughlin’s class, Raston A. Rat is on vacation! I took a long flight on RodentAir, and now I’m in Hawaii, sipping a Hamster Slushie and dipping my ratty toes in the surf. I hope you like my flowered swim trunks and my ratly cool shades! It’s fun here, at the Ritzy Rodent Resort–there was even a karaoke contest on the patio this morning, and I sang my newest song (“Cruel, Cruel Felines”). I was hardly nervous at all!
Thank you for all your good advice about sports and toe cramps. I have decided to go out for the sport of Beaching. Beaching is a pretty easy sport; you just have to sit on a beach and now and then splash in the water. You might not think this is much of a sport, but seriously, jumping around on the keyboard and sending all those messages to you was quite a workout! So even though I had a ratastic time blogging with all you fifth graders, I think it’s time to give my sore ratty paws a break.
So to all you wonderful kids who have been blogging with me recently, I bid a sweet rodent farewell… how you brightened my gloomy, ratty days! Take care, be kind to any rodents you meet, and do yourselves a favor– WATCH OUT FOR CATS!!

Hi and goodbye Ratson! It’s been amazing talking to you! I’ll miss you! And thanks for the warning to watch out for cats, but… I kind of want to GET a pet cat! I know you won’t approve, but don’t worry if we ever meet face to face, I won’t bring my cat near you! Hope you have an amazing time on your vacation! I want to go to Hawaii too, that would be great! Hello Ratty, you are SOOO lucky you are having a ratastic vacation! We only have 8 DAYS of school left, meaning I can finally have a break from 180 days of SCHOOL. It’s like you visit home and LIVE at school. Goodratbye!
